Focusing on acute HIV infection: a unique window of opportunity for prevention of HIV infection

摘要 HIV感染急性期虽短暂但传播风险极高,因此成为高效预防艾滋病的关键点。最新的流行病学和生物学资料已阐明了急性期对加速HIV传播起着至关重要的作用,而新技术的应用使得急性期常规检测变得可行。因此,研究可能改变艾滋病疾病进程的独特“机会窗口”——HIV感染急性期,对于制定艾滋病最佳防控策略,阻止HIV的快速蔓延具有重要意义。 Acute HIV infection (AHI) represents the period with transient but very high risk for transmission of HIV, so it's a focal point for innovation in AIDS prevention. Epidemiologic and biological data have recently elucidated an important role for AHI in driving HIV transmission at the same time, and it is feasible that new technologies are introduced to make routine detection of AHI. The study on the AHI representing a unique window of opportunity to change the course is crucial to implement optimal public health strategies to control HIV transmission effectively.
