本文简述了近半个世纪以来美日在高性能纤维领域的竞争情况以及今后中日两国间将出现的竞争态势,重点介绍了日本今后的技术研发方向,同时还论述了不同种类的高性能纤维在某些重要应用领域内的相互竞争。世界高性能纤维行业的激烈竞争将迫使各公司不断加大研发创新的投入,帮助用户进入"量体裁衣"的时代。

In recent half century, the competition between US and Japan in high-performance fiber was intense. This article illustrated the competition among several countries as well as different kinds of fiber in some important application fields, and focused on the technique research trend of Japan. Based on analysis, the author pointed out that the competition would force high-performance fiber enterprises to increase investment on research and development, so as to supply tailor-made products to customers.
