教育与社会的关系,一直是教育中的首要关系。然而,长期以来社会基本上是一个空泛的概念,或者,社会只是一个外在于人的巨大的权威,人不能对抗社会。现代社会学所理解的社会,是人与社会相对抗意义上的社会,这种对抗是积极的智慧,而不是反社会。人成为社会的行动者,社会从过去巨大的外在意义,变化为内在于个人的场域意义,也成为一个游戏世界。教育就在于能够实现外在世界意义向个人内在世界意义的转换,也就是说,社会从他人的,转换为自己的。社会的荣辱是每个人的道德责任,此乃这个时代之教育意义之一。

The relationship between education and society is always essential to education. However, the definition of society has long been vague and general, and also authoritative beyond man＇s power. From the perspective of modern sociology, the society is one in which humans are in conflict with society, while the conflict is not opposed to society, but positive and wise to social development. The significance of education consists in achieving the goal of converting the external world into the personal internal world, which means that the world of others changes into one＇s own. Honors and humiliations of society are everyone＇s responsibility, which is one of the educational significances of the era.
