The paper briefly introduces the significance of the mix-assembly line sequencing problem and discusses the relationship between decision-making problem and sequencing problem. The paper focuses on the application of the TOPSIS in the multi-objective decision-making problem. The TOPSIS is clear in principle and simple in calculation, at the same time, it can overcome the defaults of other methods, such as poor objectivity and too many assumption conditions, so it is a rather effective method for the select of the optimal mix-assembly line sequencing.
