At present, police education in China is facing a critical period of reform and development. As an important component of police education, police physical education is also facing new opportunities as well aschallenges. This article looks back on the history of police physical education, analyzes the educational function and professional function of police physical education, and draws a conclusion on the developing trend of police physical education, aiming at providing some inspirations for the sustainable development of police physical education.
