On the base of researching the necessary knowledge for specialty of chemical engineering and process, the knowl- edge affiliation building and knowledge cluster building are studied. As a basic system and content for specialty of chemical engineering and process, a suitable fundamental core courses is constructed, being of suitable quantity, quality priority, prominent focus, obvious features and open system.
