港台资本共建海峡西岸经济区之构想

The Concept of Building the Western Coast Economic Zone with Hong Kong and Taiwan Capital

改革开放以来,福建省充分利用自身具有的"山、海、侨、特"的优势,在经济建设和社会发展方面取得了举世瞩目的成就。其中,以著名侨乡为代表的部分沿海县市经济的高速增长,与大量吸收港台资本、开展同港台企业的紧密合作,有着密切的关系。一方面,海峡西岸经济区建设的提出为港台资本提供了广阔的平台。另一方面,进一步发挥港台资本的作用和潜力,对于海峡西岸经济区建设的健康持续发展有着长期的战略意义。

Since reform and opening up, taking advantage of their own ＂mountain, sea, overseas Chinese, special zone＂, Fujian Province has made remarkable achievements in economic construction and social development. Among them, the rapid economic growth of the famous hometown of overseas Chinese in the coastal cities and counties are related with a large absorption of Hong Kong and Taiwan capital and its close cooperation. On one hand, the prospect of Western Economic Zone provides a broad platform for Hong Kong and Taiwan capital; on the other hand, to maximize the use and potential of the capital has long-term and strategic significance for healthy and sustainable growth of the economic zone.
