社会主义和谐社会是以人为主体的社会和谐发展的状态。具体说来,它包括人与自然的和谐、人与人的和谐以及社会结构之间的和谐等多方面的内容。虽然构建社会主义和谐社会是一项复杂的系统工程,但究其本质却是建立足以形成良好的社会秩序的规则。总的来说,代表人民意志的国家和公民社会承担了相应的职责,成为建立规则的直接主体。当然,在构建社会主义和谐社会的进程中,国家和公民社会的主体作用也需要进一步培育和完善。

The Socialist harmonious society is a state of harmonious development taking human being as the subject. In detail, it includes man and nature harmony, man and man harmony, and harmony between social structures. Constructing harmonious socialist society is a complex task, however, it is to establish good social order in nature. Generally speaking, government and society which represent people＇ s interest and benefit take corresponding responsibilities and become the direct subject of setting rules. Of course, in the constructing process, the subjective functions of government and civil society also need further cultivation and perfection.
