文化决定养老,有什么的文化模式就有什么样的养老观念和养老方式;同时,养老本身就是一种文化。在新的历史时期,我国农村由于经济、政治、文化、社会结构发生了重大变革,我国农村养老面临了新的情况和挑战。加强文化建设、发展农村义务教育、强化以"孝"为核心的道德教育、加强民风民俗建设以及养老法律法规建设,努力提高农民思想道德和科学文化素质,从而有效地解决我国农村养老问题。

The culture decides the way of providing for the aged, with what kind of culture, there will be the kind of idea and mode of providing for the aged;and providing for the aged itself is a culture.Becouse great revolutions of economy, policy, culture and social structure have taken place during the new historical time in our country, providing for the aged in rural district is faced with the new conditions and challenge. Reenforcement of cultural construction - develop education in rural district, strengthen moral education with the core of ＂filial piety＂,enhance the construction of folkway and folk-costum and construction of laws and regulations about providing for the aged-to try hard to improve the thinking, morality and scientific and cultural qulity of peasant, can effectively solve the problem of providing for the aged in rural district in China.
