Analysis of Chinese sulphur market in the first half year of 2009

针对2009年上半年中国硫磺进口以及国内生产情况统计,分析了上半年的销售状况。由于2008年下半年的硫磺价格暴跌,导致2009年6月进口硫磺价格相比去年同期下跌超过90%。从2009年上半年硫磺进口量来看,总量为6576.8 kt,而2008年上半年则为4838 kt,累计增加达到35.9%。另外,2009年我国主要硫磺的进口国为加拿大、美国、沙特阿拉伯和日本,其中美国进口增幅明显,较去年同期增加359.1%。进口货物集中于华东的南通港、西南的防城港以及北方的青岛港,下游采购集中于江苏、云南、贵州、山东及湖北等省。

Aimed at the statistics of Chinese sulphur import and domestic production in the first half year of 2009, the sale status is analyzed. The sulphur import price in June of 2009 fell over 90% due to the steep fall of sulphur price in the second half year of 2008. The sulphur import quantum in the first half year of 2009 is 6 576.8 kt, which is 35.9% increment than that in the same term of 2008. In addition, in 2009 the sulphur is mainly imported from Canada, America, Saudi Arabia and Japan. The sulphur import quantum from America increases obviously, which is 359. 1% increment than that in the same term of 2008. The main import harbors are Nantong Harbor in East China, Fangcheng Harbor in Southwest and Qingdao Harbor in North China, and the main stock areas are Jiangsu, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shandong, Hubei and so on.
