Essence of Experience about Diagnosis and Treatment of Internal Emergency by ZHANG Jing-yue

张景岳是我国明代著名的医学家,其勇于创新,在内科急症的诊治上颇有建树。根据内科急症的特点,对许多急症进行归纳,并对其中的一些急症进行分析,提出了自己的观点。认为医者应重视病机,辨证求本,虚实施治以防失治误治。在急症用药上,强调精选用药,用药专狠,以取得最佳的疗效。

ZHANG Jing-yue is a distinguished Chinese physician in Ming Dynasty, he had the courage of innovation, and established his achievements in diagnosis and treatment of Internal Emergency. Based on characteristics of Internal Emergency, he induced many acute diseases, and analysed the causes and pathogenesis of some of them, then put forward his viewpoint about internal emergency. To avoid erroneous therapy or no therapy, he think physicians explore causes by syndrome differentiation, and pay more attention to pathogenesis, then give proper treatment on the basis of deficiency and excess. He also stressed choosing medicines carefully ,and emphasized rational medication that should not only be targeted to acute diseases but also be full dosage in treatment of internal emergency or/and have strong effects on disease,only in this way,best effects can be acuqired.
