The maize rough dwarf disease（MRDD） was introduced. According to the research about the occurrence regularity of MRDD and Laodelphax striatellus Fallen in Nantong area, the characteristics of the occurrence of MRDD was summarized. The integrated control measurements of MRDD were put forward from several aspects such as strengthening field management, arranging distribution of crops for rotation reasonably, selecting safety sowing time in reason, disease-resistance safety sowing time and enduring varieties combined chemical control.
