摘要
基于Coolstreaming系统设计思想,针对嵌入式系统计算能力弱存储小的特点,为减少控制信息和调度传输时间,对其交换机制以及启发式算法进行改进,提出一种适用于IPTV环境的调度算法使其适合嵌入式IPTV机顶盒应用.通过局域网对应用此算法的嵌入式系统进行测试,结果表明使用该算法节点处理开销小,能为大量IPTV用户提供高质量的直播服务.
Embeded system has weak computer power and small storage. In order to reduce control information and scheduling time, this paper presents a scheduling algorithm based on Coolstreaming scheduling policy , analyzes data scheduling policy using new exchange mechanism and heuristic algorithm. The new algorithm is properly designed according to the characteristic of STB and application environment of IPTV. The test result shows that the scheduling algorithm used in embedded system can reduce the overhead of peers efficiently and provide high quality live streaming service to vast number of STB users.
