1963年第四届“上海之春”首次全国性二胡比赛，可谓获得了太满贯式的丰收：作品、人才、理论、效应每一项都是光彩夺目。此次参赛的34首新乐曲．几乎个个成了保留节目；赛后从参赛曲目中选择出版的《二胡曲十首》，已经是经过实践检验的艺术经典。

OUTLINE/Something amazing happened in 1963,during the 4th Shanghai Spring International Festival, That year,a National Krhu Competition was held,and not only were new stars born in the performance arena,hut also compositions. There were a total of 34 new compositions for this competition, and almost all of them are now standard repertory works.Among the performing stars were Wang Guodong(Beijing) and Min Huifen (Shanghai).Decades have passed since that competition,and not many erhu classics or performers have risen to the fore.At the eve of the 60th anniversary of the country's founding,let's revisit those historical circumstances.
