摘要
2007年8月,教育部出台修订后的《大学英语课程教学要求》。与《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》相比,《大学英语课程教学要求》更为灵活,但统一要求依然存在。本文分析了统一要求带来的问题和缺陷,提出用语言能力等级量表来替代统一的教学要求,并对其积极意义作了阐述。
The requirements for college English teaching in the newly revised College English Curriculum Requirements are getting more flexible, yet a uniform goal remains that all non- English majors are required to attain. As a uniform requirement brings with it the unavoidable problems, the paper suggests that it be replaced by language proficiency scales and illustrates its significance in college English teaching.
