勒菲弗尔意识形态理论对汉诗英译的解释力——以毛泽东《忆秦娥·娄山关》词英译为例

On explanatory power of Lefevere's ideology theory on Chinese ancient poetry's translation to English——Taking translated versions of Mao Zedong's Loushan Pass as example

在文学翻译过程中,影响翻译的因素有许多,然而,原文本和译文本所在语境的意识形态对翻译有相当程度的影响。结合安德烈.勒菲弗尔的意识形态理论来论述意识形态对文学翻译的影响,并通过对毛泽东《忆秦娥.娄山关》词两个英译本的对比分析来探讨这一理论对汉诗英译的解释力。提出,意识形态对汉诗英译具有重要影响,但过分强调意识形态的作用将会阻碍正常的文化交流。

In the process of literature translation, there are many factors that can influence the translation; however, ideology plays an essential role in both original and translated versions. This paper tries to discuss the influence of ideology with Lefevere＇s rewriting theory. Also, two versions of Mao Zedong＇s poem will be compared and analyzed according to this theory. This essay suggests that ideology has great influences on Chinese English poetry translation but too much stress on the role of ideology will impede the regular cultural communication.
