An Archaeological Study about the Custom of the Tombs in the Ganjiang River Valley during Song Dynasty

赣江流域宋代墓葬随葬品以瓷器为主,堆塑瓶是其中最有特点的器物。墓葬形制以砖室墓居多。这一葬俗的形成,主要是受儒、释、道三教的影响,是宗教信仰因素、地理位置因素和文化交流因素结合的产物。

The funerary objects in Song Dynasty burials were mainly porcelains in Ganjiang River valley, and the heaped bottles are the most characteristic objects. The burials are mainly brick-chambered tombs. This formation of the funeral customs was mainly due to the impact of three religions, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. It was a product of combining the religion factor, geographic factor and cultural exchange factors.
