摘要 基于复杂地形实时绘制的特性,分析了地形多分辨率建模与遮挡剔除技术结合的必要性,提出了一种将地形多分辨率建模与基于最小二次方平面的地形遮挡剔除相结合的地形绘制框架及其设计原则。基于该框架的地形绘制算法除了能有效减少送入绘制管道的多边形数量之外,还充分考虑了算法性能的最优化及地形的动态扩展。实验表明了基于多分辨率遮挡剔除的地形绘制框架的可行性和有效性。 The need for combination of multi-resolution terrain modeling and occlusion culling was analyzed, and a terrain rendering framework which integrated multi-resolution terrain modeling and terrain occlusion culling based on the least square plane and its design principle were proposed. The algorithm based on this framework not only decreased the number of polygons sending to the rendering pipeline efficiently, but also took into account of the performance optimization and its dynamical extension. The experiment illustrates the feasibility and validity of the terrain rendering framework based on multi-resolution occlusion culling.
