Reconstruction of historical culture center in Sun Yat-sen Park

佛山市中山公园中的一个岛拟建成为反映岭南文化和历史的影视拍摄基地。越是乡土的,越是世界的,因而需要发展地继承岭南园林风格和文化。延续历史,不是简单的模仿历史;传承文明,不是单一地复制文明。尊重场地的历史痕迹,采用了网络空间、类型学等方法去演绎当代岭南人对乡土的依恋和对现代文化的理解。

Built half a century ago, Foshan Sun Yet-san Park is a typical representative of the LinNan Gardens. Our plan is to rebuild an island in Sun Yet-san Park. Completed, the island is supposed to reflect the history and culture of LinNan style more effectively and serve as a centre for culture activities. We believe the more national a design is, the more global it is, so we should develop the style and culture. Inheriting the history is not a simple imitation of history~ the civilization inheritance is not the civilization duplicates. We value the historical trace of this site, so we use web-space conception and typology method to explain people＇s lingering impression of nationalism and comprehension of modern cultures.
