摘要
From the standpoint that philosophies was originated from general humanity and essence of human,Wang Guowei put forward a definition of universal philosophy which both transcended and included Chinese and western philosophies,affirming that philosophy is a inherent part of Chinese learning.Then he comprehended Chinese and Western philosophies from this viewpoint of universal philosophy,revealing their common traits on metaphysics,logic,ethnics,and aesthetics.Founded on his thorough exploration of discrepancies between Chinese and Western Philosophies,he approached on the subject that how Chinese scholars to reach "academic self-consciousness",and based upon the forefront of world philosophy he proposed the most significant philosophical puzzle that "why the lovely isn’t believable and the believable isn’t lovely".
