民族动因和学科动因下的美国文学批评——从D.H.劳伦斯的《美国经典文学研究》谈起 被引量：5

摘要 民族动因和学科动因是推动美国文学批评发展的两大内驱力。在两者的共同作用下,19世纪至20世纪中期的美国文学批评始终把构建美国独特性和学科性作为自己的主要任务和目标。在此过程中,美国文学批评既追求自由又行使霸权,不仅代表而且实践了美国式的所谓民主思想。美国文学批评的根本思路和矛盾本质,都反映在劳伦斯并不具学术性的《美国经典文学研究》中。
