美国“全国数学咨询委员会”2008年3月13日发表了关于美国中小学数学教育的报告．报告主要包括美国中小学数学课程内容、学生学习过程、教师教育、教学方法、教材、考试、数学教育研究等方面．对我们的启示有：应高度重视数学教育对培养公民素质和创新人才的重要基础性意义；应系统的观点指导数学教育新课程改革；鼓励与支持开展严谨、实证的数学教育科学研究；要逐步把数学教育决策建立在科学研究与民主讨论的基础之上．

In April 18, 2006, President George W Bush ordered the establishment of National Mathematics Advisory Panel. In March 13, 2008, the Panel issued its final report, and eight reports of the Task Groups and Subcommittees. This paper introduced major conclusions and recommendations of the final report, and put forward four recommendations for China＇s school mathematic education reform.
