1949年5月上海解放后,劳资关系发生了新的变化。私营企业工人尽管经济上受剥削,但在政治上却居领导地位。而资本家则是被改造的对象,不过,中国革命的新民主主义性质又规定了其作为新政权的统战对象,仍继续在社会经济中发挥重要作用。劳资双方的这种迥异的政治经济际遇遂与中共劳资政策实践错综交织,演绎着上海劳资关系格局由资方主导向劳方权势嬗变的复杂实态。从协商合作与阶级斗争两种理念交锋最终导致上海新民主主义劳资关系创构陷入困境的事实中,亦可知中共由革命党向执政党转变而进行社会整合的艰辛与努力。
New changes took place in the relations between labor and management in Shanghai following its liberation in May 1949. In the private enterprises the workers were economically exploited but politically they were in the leading position while the capitalists were subjected to transformation and were doomed to step down from the stage. However, the nature of the Chinese democratic revolution dictated that they were treated as members of the united front and continued to play an important role in the social and economic development. The completely different political and economic spells of the two sides were intertwined with the CPC' s policy towards the relations between labor and management, which produced a complex development from dominance by the capitalists to the power of the labor. We can see from the fact that conflicts between ideas of consultative cooperation and class struggle ultimately landed the labor-capitalist relations in a dilemma in Shanghai the difficulties faced by the CPC in their efforts at the social integration during the transition from a party of revolution to a ruling party.
