本切割机主要用于废钢的切割，结构简单紧凑，自动化程度高，操作灵活方便。本机采用变频调速，调速范围宽，能切割不同厚度的废钢，水平、垂直方向切割行程大。文章介绍了自动切割机的机械、电气组成及其工作原理。

This cutting machine is used to cut scrap steel mainly. Its structure is compact.The machine is automatic highly and operatic easily. VVVF(vary voltage vary frequency) is used in velocity modulation and the velocity range is very wide. So it can cut different thickness scrap steel. Its cutting route is very long in horizontal and vertical direction. The paper introduces the constitution and working principle in mechanic and electric of the automatic cutting machine. The application of a SIMENS inverter is described mainly. 
