Researche on Design Method of Local Underlying Layer under Footings

本文指出规范设计方法的不合理性，提出新的钢筋混凝土柱下单独基础型式。

Local underlying layer can be used in spread footings not only as a convenient construction measure but also as a tool for adjustment of contact pressure. This paper points out unrationality of code design method, put forward a new type of reinforced concrete footings. A practical design procedures is suggested based on the results of the tests and basic principles of national building design codes.
