根螨属—新种记述(蜱螨目:粉螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS RHIZOGLYPHUS (ACARINA: ACARIDAE) FROM CHINA

根螨属至今已记述14种,我国仅报导过二种。1984—1986年作者在采集水仙(Nar-cissus tazetta L.var.chinensis)球茎螨类时发现一新种。模式标本保存在漳州芗城区植保站,文中量度单位为微米。

This paper describes and illustrates a new species of the genus Rhizoglyphus Claparede from Narcissus tazetta var. chinensis Roem in China.Rhizoglyphus narcissi, sp. nov. (figs. 1-12)Female . Length 959-1146. Width 486-680. Propodosomal shield oblong, clear and its posterior margin irregular in outline. Space between bases of internal vertical setae(v.i.) 20μ. External vertical setae(v.e.) present as microsetae. Internal scapular setae(sc.i.) 16-30 . Supra coxal setae(s.cx.) 43-45, arc-shaped, longer than sc. i. . External scapular setae (sc.e.) 244-248. On the dorsal surface of the hysterosoma h.i. 23-59; h.e. 145-178; d146-50; d226-40; d346-83; d4118-145; la 19-53; 1p 46-116; sa.i. 112-139; sa.e. 72-92 and postanal setae (pa) 99-165. Number of eggs in body cavity 1-6, 102-112×145-165. Receptaculum seminis pocket-shaped, Anal opening surrounded by six pairs of anal setae. Genital opening between coxae Ⅲ and Ⅳ. Legs reddish brown to black brown. On tarsi Ⅰ ba 21-23; ω116-26; ω26-10; (?)128-149; σ1 46-56;σ2 40; σ1, slightly longer thanσ2.Homomorphic male : Smaller than female. Length 679-786; width 333-400. Genital skeleton broader, 50-63×38-43. v.i. 85-96; sc. i. 9-17; s. ex. 33-40; all dorsal setae shorter than female, except d4(122-162). Anal discs without radiating lines, pa1 165-175; pa2 145-165; pa3 26-30. On tarsi Ⅰ ba 16-20; ω1, 18-20;ω2 9-10; σ1 39-50; σ2 29-40.Heteromorphic male: Length 666.50, width 346.58. v.i. 493.21; sc.e. 826.46; sc.i. 10.66; s.cx. 15.99. Leg Ⅲ greatly enlarged.This species is very similar to Rhizoglyphus callae, but differs from the latter in sc.i. setae. The sc.i. setae of R. narcissi are shorter than R. callae and all dorsal setae are also shorter. This new species is also very similar to R. robini. but its genital sclerite is wider than the latter. R. robini, but its genital sclerite is wider than the latter.Holotype (?) , Allotype (?) , Paratypes 16 (?) (?) , 3(?) (?) and 1 hypopus. In June 1985 from Zhangzhou, China, Collected by Lin Zhonghua from Narcissus tazetta var. chinensis.A key to the three species of Rhizoglyphus from China is given.All the type specimens are deposited in the Plant Protection Station of Xiangcheng district, Zhangzhou, China.
