This article summarized the domestic and foreign grounding grid fault diagnosis techniques. They include in the methods of big current, the neans of node analysis on the grounding grid, the means of electromagnetic field analysis the analyticity of the electric chemistry, the methodology of nondestructive detection and else methods. Subsequently, there are the classifications and the comparisons of each kind of fault diagnosis techniques. It is introduced the grounded grid fault diagnosis technique＇s the present condition in the paper simultaneously, and it is carried on the prospect for development of the grounded grid flaw diagnosis technique on the base. Their directions of the fault diagnosis are the all-risk detection and the on-line monitoring.
