摘要
目的:探讨近代西方医学对温州医学发展的影响和启示。方法:通过查阅有关古籍和相关资料及实地考察,追溯历史,研究教会办学对温州医学以及医学教育的影响。结果:英国传教士苏慧廉创办的温州第一所医院:白累德医院,集教学、医疗、科研、管理为一体,对温州医学的发展具有重要意义。结论:教会办学是温州医学教育的先驱,对温州医疗卫生事业的发展起到推动作用。
Objective： To discuss the influence and enlightenment of modern western medicine to medical development in Wenzhou. Methods： By perusing correlative ancient books and materials concerned, tracing history, studying church hospitals which were used for reference to the development of medicine and higher medical education in Wenzhou. Result：W. E. Soothill, who came from England, established the first Wenzhou hospital named DiLl Blyth Hospital which offered medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, management. This hospital is of great significance to medical development in Wenzhou. Conclusion： Church education is forerunner of medical education in Wenzhou. It plays a role in promoting development of medical and health care in Wenzhou.
