摘要
本文报道了以电子显微术观察蝗虫变态微孢子虫在25℃和20℃下从裂殖体到孢子的发育过程。蝗虫变态微孢子虫的裂殖体为双核:在25℃下发育,一个母孢子形成二个孢子母细胞,极管形成与高尔基体有关,双核孢子极管为16圈。在20℃下发育,一部分的变态微孢子虫由一个母孢子形成八个孢子母细胞。在八孢子的母孢子中可见偶线联会复合物。孢子母细胞被包裹在一层孢子泡膜内,早期的孢子泡膜内可见管状结构,八孢子的极管为18圈。
The fine structure and development of Vairimorpha locustae Canning 1953,a dimorphic microsporidium of the locusts were studied in electron microscopy.Vairimorpha locustae is shown to have two sporulation sequences and display temperature-dependent dimorphism.Meronts were rounded cells each with a diplokaryon. Division was by binary fission of stages with two diplokarya. Diplekaryotic sporonts were elongate cells with a thick electron- dense surface coat.After division of nuclei to form two diplokarya, cytoplasmic fission gave rise to two sporoblasts.Spores were diplokaryotic condition and seen that there were 16 coils of the polar tube in one layer. Sporonts of the octosporoblastic sequence were spherical.The plasma membrane of the sporont was progressively thickened by addition of electron dense material during its maturation.Paired structures resembling synaptonemal complexes,seen in some nulei and condensed chromatin in others,were typical of meiotic confi- gurations and indicated a reduction of chromosome number in the first division of each nucleus of the diplokaryon.Constriction of the sporont gave rise to 8 uninucleated sporoblasts.The spores were seen to possess a single nucleus,the polar tube,a posterior vacuole and polar cap and cisternae of rough endoplasmic reticulum. Little could be seen in the poorly preserved mature spores,and there were at least 18 coils arranged in bundles rather than a single layer as in the disporoblastic spores.
