摘要
华沫蝉属(Sinophora Melichar)是同翅目(Homoptera)尖胸沫蝉科(Aphropho-ridae)中的一个小属,目前全世界已知13种(Aaufriev,1972;Matsumura,1942;Me-lichar,1902;Metcalf和Horton,1934;周尧等,1986),分布于中国(东北,北部、西部及青藏部分地区)、日本(九州、本州及北海道)和苏联西伯利亚东部滨海地区,我国记载的12种。该属后足胫节刺数3—6根,生殖板短小、指形,生殖刺突宽大,尾向伸展几与臀刺等长,阳茎大型复杂、横置,不难与别的尖胸沫蝉属区分。 本文记述华沫蝉属一新种,标本采自我国西藏通麦。新种正模标本保存于西北农业大学昆虫博物馆(陕西杨陵)。
In this paper, Sinophwa tongmaiensis sp. nov. from Tongmai, Xizang (Tibet), China is described, figured and distinguished from S choui Yuan et Liang, 1986 from Medog, Xizang, China.Sinophora tongmaiensis sp. nov. (figs. 1, 2)Male: Crown testaceous, marked with black as follows: tylus; compound eyes and their neighbourhoods; the posterior part of the median carina; and the posterior margin just after ocelli. Tylus transversely slender, with the posterior margin impressed. Antennal ledges yellow, short and stout. Face strongly inflated, yellowish-testaceous, irregularly marked with blackish, transverse grooves very distinct. Lora blackish. Rostrum testaceous, reaching beyond the posterior trochanters.Anterior half of the pronotum testaceous-yellow, and the posterior half very dark castane-ous-brown. Scutcllum large, very dark castaneous-brown, with its apex and basal lateral margins marked with yellow spots. Tegmina very dark castaneous-brown, with the apical third much paler; two large triangular, translucent, testaceous-brown areas on the costal margin; and irregular yellowish-testaceous spots both in the middle and on the apical third of the claval suture, and near the apex of the clavus; vein distinct, apical cells large. Body beneath and legs testaceous-yellow, marked with blackish or blackish-fuscous as follows: pro- and mesople-urae; inner and lateral areas of mesosternum, tips of claws and spines on the legs; two rings on the fore and intermediate femora and tibiae. There are no spines on the bases of fore coxae. Hind tibiae with four spines. Genital segments destroyed.Length to apex of tegmina 14.4 mm.Female; Unknown.This species is closely allied to S. choui Yuan et Liang, 1986 from Medog, Xizang, but can be separated by body much larger and darker, rostrum reaching beyond the posterior tro-chanters, and there are no spines on the bases of fore coxae.Holotype (?), Tongmai (2,050 m), Xizang (Tibet), China, 27.
