The Article starts the research from the current situation of Chinese foreign exchange reserve, and it gives a literature review for the research. Based on the balance sheet of the Chinese government, it analyzes the factors affected the Chinese foreign exchange reserve. Finally, it provides the theoretical model to set the optimal foreign exchange reserve.
