太平天国史研究的新进展

The Progress in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Research

近年来太平天国史研究取得了不少进展,但观点分歧明显。学术界评价太平天国的分歧主要是:对腐败的清政府造反是有理还是无理的是非问题;太平天国是推动还是阻碍历史前进的功过问题;上帝教是否是邪教的正邪问题。学术界对太平天国的评价产生分歧的原因主要在于研究视角的不同。

Recent years have seen great progress in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom history research. However, scholars＇ views are strikingly divergent. The differences of the academic circle in evaluating the history lie in the following aspects ： the matter of right or wrong--whether it is reasonable to rebel against the corrupted Qing government; the matter of merits or demerits --whether the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom pushed history forward or hindered historical development; the matter of justice or evil--whether the reli- gion of the Heavenly Kingdom was heresy. The main reason for the differences in the evaluation derives from the differences of research perspectives.
