In the study of the solubility properties of the system of Sm(ClO 4) 3 BAPHDCA H 2O at 30 ℃ in the whole concentration range by phase equilibrium method a ternary compound Sm(BAPHDCA) 2(ClO 4) 3·H 2O has been found. According to the phase equilibrium results the complex was prepared and characterized by chemical and elemenal analysis, IR spectrometry and TG DTG techniques.
