介绍了汝州市鳌头矿区铝土矿矿床地质特征,矿体岀露一般,矿石品位、厚度中等,是滨海湖泊相沉积矿床。晚寒武纪灰岩是本区成矿的主要物质来源。该区矿床受中石炭统本溪组地层、岩相古地理环境和地貌的控制。

This paper introduced the geological characteristics of bauxite deposit of Aotou mining area in Ruzhou. The ore body outcrop, ore grade and thickness is general. The bauxite deposit belongs to littoral and lake facies. The limestone from Furongian Cambrian period is the main material origin. This ore deposit is controlled by stratum of the Benxi group, ancient geographic situation of lithofacies and landform.
