崛起于20世纪40年代的九叶派诗,在时代的感召下,作出了个人情感与大众心态沟通、直面现实人生、张扬知识分子主体性品格的价值取向。艺术上较成功地实现了中西诗艺的嫁接,客观性与间接性的戏剧化手法,思想的知觉化,力求智性与感性的溶合,为中国现代诗的发展提供了可资借鉴的宝贵经验。

Rising in the 20th century and inspired by the times, Jiuye school of Chinese literature, bridged between personal emotion and public mentality, confronted the reality and showed the value orientation of most Chinese intellectuals. The school successfully communicates between Chinese and Western poetry art：The dramatic way containing objectivity and indirectness, perception of thought, the combination of wisdom and emotion are valuable experience the school has contributed to modern Chinese poetry.
