吴语、湘语主元音链变类型比较

A comparison of the vowel rising chain shift of Guo (果),Jia (假),Yu (遇),Xie (蟹) and Liu (流) groups in Wu and Xiang dialects

一些学者认为吴语和湘语在果、假、遇、蟹、流等摄中存在元音高化链移的演变共性。本文对这一现象进行了重新探讨后认为,吴语和湘语的元音高化链移式音变只涉及果、假、蟹三摄,不涉及遇、流两摄。两大方言在元音高化链移上既有共性,也有个性。这种演变上的共性是一种音变的类型学共性。

Some linguists assume that Guo,Jia,Yu,Xie and Liu groups in both Wu and Xiang dialects have the same vowel rising chain shift. This paper re-analyzes the phenomenon and shows that the vowel rising shift only occurs in Guo,Jia and Xie groups. The shift can not be taken as evidence in support of the relations between the two dialect groups. It is merely a common pattern of sound change.
