摘要
目的:通过观察轻度阿尔茨海默病(AD)患者的视神经纤维层厚度来评估视网膜形态改变。方法:比较15例轻度AD患者和15例对照组视网膜的形态差异。通过光学相干断层成像(OCT)测定视网膜上方、下方、鼻侧和颞侧的视神经纤维层的厚度,比较两组的差异。结果:AD患者的视神经纤维层的厚度与对照组相比,在各象限的数值和均值均显著减少(P<0.01)。结论:在轻度AD患者中视神经纤维层的厚度的减少提示在疾病早期即存在视网膜形态改变,OCT可能作为辅助手段有助诊断。
Objective To examine the optic nerve fiber layer thickness for assessing the morphological change of the retina in patients with mild Alzheimer's disease (AD). Methods Fifteen mild AD patients and 15 age-matched healthy controls were enrolled in this study. Retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness was measured by optical coherence tomography (OCT). The measurement was performed in each quadrant (superior, inferior, nasal and temporal). Results In AD patients, there was a significant reduction of RNFL thickness in each of the quadrants when compared with that in healthy controls (P〈0.01). Conclusions These results indicate that there is a reduction of RNFL thickness in mild AD patients, which suggests that morphological change of retina already occurs in the early stage of AD, and OCT can be used as an adjuvant approach for helping the diagnosis of morphological change of retina in AD.
