The paper briefly presents the principles of dimmer system, and describes in detail the interface between AqBiss electrical encoder and TMS320F2812. AqBiss electrical encoder is a 15bit resolution encoder, and both the absolute and incrementatal position could be obtained, the absolute position output uses the Biss protocol. This paper gives the realization of Biss protocol on the chip of TMS320F2812.
