The main psychological problems of AIDS-affected children and psychological intervention measures

目前受艾滋病影响儿童的心理问题较突出，他们普遍存在着严重的心理障碍，这些心理负担来自疾病本身、家属态度、社会公众和经济压力等。大多数儿童存在自卑、焦虑、害怕、悲伤等心理问题，这与艾滋病对家庭环境的破坏性影响有关。因此受艾滋病影响儿童的心理健康问题不容忽视，应该采取适当的干预措施改善这些儿童的心理健康状态。

At present, the psychological problems of AIDS-affected children become more prominent, and their prevalence of serious psychological barriers exist, these psychological burdens come from the disease itself, the attitude of their families, the public and the economic pressures, and so on. A majority of the children have the low self-esteem, anxiety, fear, grief, and other psychological problems, these are connected with the devastating effects of AIDS to the environment of the family. Therefore, the mental health problems of the children affected by AIDS can not be ignored, appropriate intervention measures should be taken to improve these children＇s mental health status.
