This paper studeo the development trend of rapier looms in the weft insertion system, decreasing the shedding hight, the beating up with a conyugated cam and the compnter application. It analyses the main problems of rapier looms in using at home, puts forwand some proposals to set up a product development center, bring about specialized production, raise the products quatity and productivity.
