The controversy over Intelligent Design has been in progress since its naissance. This paper looks back the history of the Intelligent Design theory, and show the development of Intelligent Design in America. This paper focuses on the relationship between Intelligent Design and science, and makes a comparison between Intelligent Design and Darwin＇s evolutionism. This paper makes some statement from the view of philosophy of science about why Intelligent Design is not a scientific theory.
