The ecological highway concept was illustrated,the design main body and design element of ecological highway were analyzed,and the main structure of ecological highway design in every design stages was discussed.It pointed out that ecological highway was a new and important develop trend and direction in international society,which presented a new research course and new development direction for Chinese highway construction.
