The author introduces the characteristics of sedimentation in the Yellow river little north stem,as well as damages of Dongleichou Yellow river irrigation area,provides procedures and measures of solving sediment problem,discusses the importance,feasibility and necessity of solving coarse sediment utilizing advanced self-drainage flush gallery technology at the top channel,so as to solve the coarse sediment problem from base.
