高等中医药院校的英语教学肩负着培养外向型中医药人才的重任,在高等中医药院校人才培养格局中占据极其重要的位置。如何结合高等中医药院校的自身实际,切实有效地开展英语教学,以满足社会对外向型中医药人才的需求,是目前我国高等中医药院校英语教学面临的严峻挑战,具有重要的现实意义。就高等中医药院校英语教学现状、课程设置、公共英语与专业英语衔接、双语教学等问题提出探讨,以期能进一步推动我国高等中医药院校的英语教学。

English teaching plays an important colleges. How to make teaching and learning Englis role in training of international-oriented students at TCM h efficiently and meet the challenge the TCM colleges face？ In order to answer this question, the paper explores some important issues such as the status quo of English teaching, curriculum design, cohesion of general English and ESP, and bilingual education.
