摘要
认知语言学强调语言的体验性和认知性。本文从英语词素构词的视角阐释了构词中意义的生成反映出人类的认知往往首先是从人自身的身体感知和空间感知开始,然后向内延伸到人的心智、向外延伸到外部环境的体验性认知规律。研究采用事件域认知模型(ECM)为分析工具揭示了词素构词的换喻认知机制。
The study of embodiment and cognition of language takes priority in cognitive linguistics. From the perspective of word formation from morphemes, the paper arrives at the conclusion that meaning generation of word formation displays that human being＇ s cognition starts at senseing human being＇ s body itself and the space around, and extends to the inner mind and the outer envirnment. The paper further adoptes Event-domain Cognitive Model as an analytical instrument to interpret the metonymy mechanism of English word formation from morphemes.
