Shakespeare's last history play, Henry Ⅷ (All Is True), is considered by many scholars to have been written collaboratively by Shakespeare and John Fletcher. Queen Katherine is a very important role in this play. This essay aims at analyzing the character of the Queen Katherine, exploring the relation between Katherine and the Reformation, and drawing the conclusion that Shakespeare had dual or multiple religious beliefs. It is mainly displayed in the following three aspects: the religious and traitorous Katherine, complex religious factors in the Vision, and comparative study of Catholic Katherine and Protestant Anne.
