农民群体分化与农民工市民化

中国农村现代化的实质就是要完成农民从体现传统社会特性的"村民"角色向体现现代社会特性的"公民"角色的转型,即实现农民市民化。农民市民化是一项系统工程,因为随着城市化、工业化的推进,农民群体内部发生了分化,而且其不同群体市民化的难易程度也不同。我国的农民市民化必须结合实际,坚持由易到难的原则,积极、稳妥、有序地按步骤、分阶段推进,而农民工市民化是农民市民化的首要环节。

The essence of rural modernization in China is the transformation from a role of traditional pcasant group to that of modem citizen group. The transformation from peasants to urban citizens is a complex social systematic project. With the development of industrialization and urbanization, the peasant group disintegrated and the degree of difficulties of each sub - group to achieve the change from peasant workers to urban citizens were different. Therefore, this kind of change in China should promote from easy to difficult under the healthy, civilize, scientific and orderly way. The first step of rural modernization in China should be the change from peasant workers to urban citizens.
