福建省资本与经济增长关系分析

An Analysis on Relationship between Capital and Economic Growth of Fujian Province

物质资本和人力资本都是经济增长的重要决定因素。在福建省九个地区中,海峡西岸经济区建设第一层面的福州市、泉州市、厦门市和漳州市固定资本存量分别位列1-4位。第二层面的宁德、莆田两个地区及第三层面的龙岩、三明和南平三个地区的物质资本存量估算结果基本一致。福建省各地区物质资本存量与经济增长水平呈现正相关性。采取各种政策吸引外来高素质人力资本,重视教育中性别差异问题是发挥人力资本作用并促进福建省经济增长的关键。

Physical and human capital are key determinants to economic growth. Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou ranks the first to the fourth in terms of physical capital stock repectively in Fujian province. The rest 5 regions of the province have accumulated almost identical physical capital stock during the period of 1990-2006. Estimation has proved that physical capital stock is positively related to economic growth in Fujian province. To ensure a fast and stable economic growth rate, the government of the province should adopt various measures to attract qualified immigrants, achieve the goal of education fairness and accumulate enough human capital.
