The Influence of Visual Working Memory on Top-down Attentional Control

摘要 采用视觉搜索任务范式,以不同视觉工作记忆容量大学生为被试,探讨了视觉工作记忆对自上而下注意控制的影响。结果发现:(1)视觉工作记忆内容影响自上而下注意控制,靶相关信息促进对靶的搜索,而靶无关信息干扰对靶的记忆搜索。(2)不同视觉工作记忆容量个体的自上而下注意控制能力存在差异,高视觉工作记忆容量被试的反应时显著短于低视觉工作记忆容量被试,说明视觉工作记忆负荷影响自上而下注意控制。 Using the visual search task paradigm, this study examined the influence of visual working memory on top-down attentional control. The participants were collage students with high or low visual working memory capacity. The results showed that : ( 1 ) Visual working memory contents influenced top-down attentional control and target-related-items facilitated task processing while target- unrelated-items interfered with task processing. (2) There was significant difference between high and low visual working memory capacity students; the performances of high visual working memory capacity students were better than low visual working memory capacity students, which indicated that visual working memory load had an effect on top-down attentional control.
