准噶尔盆地石钱滩腕足动物群中凉水分子的发现及意义

The Discovery and Significance of Cool-Water Brachiopods from Shiqiantan Brachiopod Fauna in Junggar Basin, Xinjiang

笔者于新疆准噶尔盆地石钱滩腕足动物群中,识别出凉水型腕足动物:Praehor-ridonia, Pseudosyrinx, Orulgania, Spiriferinaella四属,建立Praehorridonia qitaiensis Wang et Yang(sp. nov.)Spiriferinaella mirabilis Wang et Yang(sp. nov.)两个新种。石钱滩腕足动物群具凉水-暖水混生动物群性质,古生物地理区划归北极大区为宜。晚石炭世早期准噶尔盆地可能已经成为西伯利亚板块南缘的一部分。

The authors have recognized four genera of cool-water brachiopods in the Shiqiantan bra-chiopod fauna in the Junggar basin, Xinjiang. They are Praeharridonia, Pseudosyrinx, Qrulga-nia and Spirijerinaella . In addition, two new species——Praeharridonia gitaiensis Wang et Yangsp. nov. and Sptriferinaella mirabtlis Wang et Yang sp. nov. have been erected. The Shiqiantan brachiopod fauna has the features of a cool- and warm-water mixed fauna and it is advisable to assign the fauna to the Boreal realm in the biogeographical division. The Junggar basin might have become a part of the southern margin of thee Siberian plate in the early stage of Late Carboniferous.
